The commercial uses of Ganister are an oil and gas reservoir, in aquifers, petroleum reservoirs, soil conditioner, source of magnesia (mgo), tombstones and that of Migmatite are cemetery markers, jewelry, tombstones, used to manufracture paperweights and bookends.
