Luxullianite appears Veined or Pebbled and Phonolite appears Banded and Foilated. The luster of Luxullianite is dull to grainy with sporadic parts pearly and vitreous while that of Phonolite is greasy to dull. Luxullianite is available in black, grey, orange, pink, white colors whereas Phonolite is available in brown, buff, cream, green, grey, pink, white colors. The commercial uses of Luxullianite are creating artwork, curling, gemstone, laboratory bench tops, tombstones and that of Phonolite are cemetery markers, creating artwork.
