1 Formation
1.1 Formation
Nepheline Syenites are formed due to alkaline igneous activities and are generally formed in thick continental crustal areas or in Cordilleran subduction zones.
When the lava is released from volcano, it undergoes a very rapid cooling which freezes the mechanisms of crystallization. The result is a volcanic glass with a uniform smooth texture.

Nepheline Syenite and Obsidian Formation

Formation of rocks is a long process and hence, Nepheline Syenite and Obsidian formation sounds very interesting.
