adamellite is een soort stollingsgesteente dat wordt gevormd door het afkoelen en stollen van lava of magma en diverse monzogranite.
dacitic magma wordt gevormd door de subductie van de jonge oceanische korst onder een dikke felsic continentale plaat. Verder wordt de oceanische korst hydrothermisch veranderd kwarts en natrium toegevoegd.
