Ijolite est, une roche dure à grains fins, qui est un type de metasomatite, basalte altéré. Il forme avec ou sans cristallisation.
webstérite peuvent être formés comme des intrusions ultramafiques cumulats par l'accumulation de cristaux de pyroxène à la base de la chambre de lave.
