1 Formation
1.1 Formation
ignimbrites sont formés à partir du mélange très mal classés de cendres volcaniques ou tuf et ponce lapilli, communément avec des fragments lithiques dispersés.
Les couches de fer en bandes sont formées dans l'eau de mer lorsque l'oxygène est libéré par un groupe cyano-bactéries photosynthétiques. L'oxygène se combine avec le fer dissous, formant une fine couche de formation de fer rubanée.
