1.1 Formation
ignimbrites sont formés à partir du mélange très mal classés de cendres volcaniques ou tuf et ponce lapilli, communément avec des fragments lithiques dispersés.
lorsque les formes de silex microcristaux de dioxyde de silicium croissent dans des sédiments qui deviennent mous du calcaire ou de craie. la formation radiolaritique peut être soit origine chimique ou biologique.
