The commercial uses of Minette are an oil and gas reservoir, as a feed additive for livestock, gemstone, metallurgical flux, production of lime, soil conditioner, source of magnesia (mgo) and that of Granulite are curling, gemstone, laboratory bench tops, soil conditioner, tombstones.
