Luxullianite appears Veined or Pebbled and Evaporite appears Glassy, Vesicular and Foilated. The luster of Luxullianite is dull to grainy with sporadic parts pearly and vitreous while that of Evaporite is subvitreous to dull. Luxullianite is available in black, grey, orange, pink, white colors whereas Evaporite is available in colourless, green, grey, silver, white colors. The commercial uses of Luxullianite are creating artwork, curling, gemstone, laboratory bench tops, tombstones and that of Evaporite are used in the manufacture of ceramic powder, used in the preparation of sulfuric acid and silicon diborite.
