Luxullianite appears Veined or Pebbled and Boninite appears Dull and Soft. The luster of Luxullianite is dull to grainy with sporadic parts pearly and vitreous while that of Boninite is vitreous. Luxullianite is available in black, grey, orange, pink, white colors whereas Boninite is available in bluish - grey, brown, colourless, green, grey colors. The commercial uses of Luxullianite are creating artwork, curling, gemstone, laboratory bench tops, tombstones and that of Boninite are an oil and gas reservoir, cemetery markers, creating artwork, soil conditioner, source of magnesia (mgo).
