The commercial uses of Argillite are fire resistant, used to manufracture paperweights and bookends and that of Kimberlite are an oil and gas reservoir, as a feed additive for livestock, gemstone, metallurgical flux, production of lime, soil conditioner, source of magnesia (mgo).
